PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR (BARIATRIC UNIT)

Location: Dublin

General Purpose

Coordinate all activities necessary for the running of the Bariatric Unit.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Coordinate Bariatric activities/business operations by communicating effectively with patients, surgeons and administrative staff
• Effectively manage all areas of responsibilities through clear, direct, and respectful communications with patients and internal stakeholders
• Actively participate in developing the Bariatric Unit in alignment to business strategies
• Adhere and contribute to set goals for the clinics based on the company’s plans
• Participate and cooperate in the induction, training and development of new staff.
• Produce and maintain processes and procedures documentation within the operations in the Bariatric Unit
• Deal and document incidents involving patients
• Pursuing and creating new opportunities for the clinic
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Education and Experience

• Experience and /or interest in weight loss management, lifestyle change and general healthy living
• Business or similar type 3^rd Level University Degree (Nutrition, Sports Science or similar)
• A good understanding of human physiology is highly desired
• knowledge of computers and relevant software applications –spreadsheets, word processing, and database management
• knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
