IT – Applications support Engineer

DUBLIN, IRELAND (FUNDED RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE)

Hierarchically reporting directly to our IT Manager, you will be in charge to monitor and manage our warehouse software applications and hardware and to handle the relationship with our supplier such as negotiation of costs and deadlines, ensuring business priorities are understood and met etc. 

Your role will cover all challenges including but not limited to implementing agile methodology with our supplier and business, support the business key users, analyse and remedy system issues, build company’s knowledge on our supplier’s warehouse systems. 

You will interface with all local departments and some group level department. You will work in a modern and dynamic environment in which you will benefit from a great deal of autonomy, and interactions with many interlocutors. 

As a true leader, you coordinate, manage and pilot your projects and ensure the relationship with your business stakeholders and supplier. 

Experience with WMS or ERP within the supply chain environment or a similar industry, you benefit from experiences with ecommerce systems or working on improvement programmes which has enabled you to develop in-depth skills in supplier management and agile methodology principles and procedures and you are fluent in English.

Beyond your skills, you are recognized for your strong communication, customer orientation and ongoing engagement skills. Self-motivated, you demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
