Our client, an Italian luxury brand, known word wide for its products, is now offering this position for a native French speaker.
The main activity of the Budget and Reporting Manager is to act as a Business partner for the Supply Chain Company Management and supporting Perfumes sales department and Travel Retail.
Responsibilities:
– Leading a team of 5 people
· Manage the month end close process, ensuring inputs from the finance team are submitted on time & to the standard expected
· Manage month end P&L/cash flow review by understanding and challenging variances
· Provide business-partnering support to the senior leadership team whilst establishing strong and effective relationships
· Coordinate the budget processes for all areas according to targets and deadlines
· Give strategical advices on cost saving and margin improvement
· Monitor the application of procedures in coordination with Corporate Finance
· Act as key user for Policies & Procedures implementation
· Ensure the monitoring of the stock to improve the efficiency and avoid any financial risk
· Oversight of key financial and planning processes including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and period end.
· Delivery of key outputs including the Executive and Board reporting
· Maintain correct governance to review contractual and commercial aspects of supplier relationships
· Oversight the A&P procurement process to maintain control over cost competence and spending overview
· Manage the Headcount establishment with HR, ensuring robust budgetary controls are in place
· Leverage functionality of existing systems & tools and help implement new, fit-for-purpose systems & tools. Review & improve existing processes, develop appropriate ad-hoc reporting satisfying specific information needs (on Sales, Margin, Costs, AP, AR, Capex…)
Professional Capabilities
· Engineering or University degree in Finance or equivalent
· Qualification in Accountancy preferable
· At least 5 years professional hands on experience in controlling with experience managing a team
· IT SKILLS: ERP, SAP R/3, Ms Office
· Travel: 10% required
· Fluent in English, French an advantage
